Since 2019, the operational organisation of
Société du Grand Paris is structured around eight
executive divisions, whose managers are members
of the Executive Committee, and four divisions
reporting to the Management Board: Legal Affairs;
Risk, Audit and Compliance; Strategy and
Innovation; and Accounting Services. Since 2020,
the Executive Committee comprises equal
numbers of men and women.
The Management Board oversees the Executive
Committee and manages Société du Grand Paris.
It comprises three members, appointed by decree of
the President of the Republic after consultation with
the Supervisory Board. Working under the authority
of the Supervisory Board, it implements the
Supervisory Board s decisions and recommendations.
It places responsibility and ethics at the heart of
Société du Grand Paris s work, thereby promoting
value creation for all the project s stakeholders.
Coordination, Methods and Tools is responsible
for coordinating and monitoring the programme,
controlling the technical reference system and
managing the configuration of the overall system.
It coordinates and supports Société du Grand Paris s
CSR approach and ensures that environmental and
safety aspects are integrated into its projects. It also
performs duties relating to regulatory compliance and
has a technical expertise role. It is also responsible
for consolidating information on project progress and
compiling this information into the periodic progress
report submitted to the Supervisory Board each
quarter.
Lines coordinates all the project divisions for each
of the Grand Paris Express lines and handles land
acquisitions and infill management.
Each project division orchestrates the programme
management for the line for which it is responsible:
It oversees the various activities of the divisions
involved in the line s implementation;
It ensures that the requirements necessary for the
line s construction are properly taken into account,
including those relating to operation and
maintenance;
It ensures in particular that the systems and
infrastructure are properly integrated;
It is responsible for drawing up and maintaining
the construction schedule until the line is brought
into service.
Transport Systems and Operations ensures
consistency of transport systems and their
implementation in accordance with expected
performance and passenger safety requirements.
It is responsible for preparing the opening of the lines
and transferring them to the operation/maintenance
company. To do this, it works in collaboration with
Île-de-France Mobilités, RATP GI (Paris Metro Authority
Maintenance Department) and the transport managers
and operators.
Finance is responsible for budget management,
management control, financial performance of
contracts and the financing of Société du Grand Paris.
Procurement and Contract Management manages
all Société du Grand Paris s purchases, ensuring
compliance with regulations governing public
procurement and supporting the Lines Division in
contract management.
Stations and Urban Affairs draws up programmes
for stations, public spaces and urban projects for
which Société du Grand Paris is the programme
manager, overseeing their implementation and
ensuring their aesthetic and urban quality.
External Relations liaises with local entities
(local residents, authorities and stakeholders).
It coordinates institutional communication and
relations with national elected officials and handles
employment and local job integration issues, the
Youth action plan and the Fabrique du Métro
exhibition centre. It is responsible for providing
information to residents living near worksites, for
actions to prevent nuisance and disruption, and
for first-level processing of requests for information
and complaints as a single point of contact for
relations with local residents.
Resources provides all the divisions and teams of
Société du Grand Paris with the extra-financial
resources required for it to function smoothly and
achieve its objectives. It implements the HR policy
and ensures that employees have a high-quality
working environment. It oversees information
systems projects. It is also responsible for internal
communication and change management.
