United Nations Global Compact
Société du Grand Paris has been a signatory of the
United Nations Global Compact charter since 26 June
2020. It has developed a well-grounded approach
and pledges to act in accordance with the universally
recognised principles of respect for human rights,
labour law, environmental protection and the fight
against corruption.
The European Sustainable Development Week
(ESDW) from 20 to 26 September 2020 provided
an opportunity for all employees to find out
more about the work being done by Société du
Grand Paris and the Grand Paris Express to promote
sustainable development, through personal
accounts from other employees;
A day of talks and discussion entirely given over
to CSR at the end of the year. Hosted by the
Sustainable Development and Internal
Communications teams, the aim of this day was t
o bring employees together to discuss CSR-related
topics and review the progress of actions taken
by Société du Grand Paris. External speakers also
took part to provide additional food for thought
for all employees. This year s theme focused on
digital tools and the carbon footprint. This special
event will be repeated every year.
Create and maintain a shared CSR culture
with its stakeholders
The promotion of the Sustainable Development Goals
and the empowerment of all Société du Grand Paris
stakeholders takes place throughout the year
alongside the work and partnerships involved in
the construction of the Grand Paris Express,
through participation at events, conferences and
the organisation of internal initiatives.
In 2020, Société du Grand Paris attended and had
a dedicated stand at the Lille Métropole 2020 World
Design Capital event.
Internally, several initiatives have been undertaken
to involve employees in the project s CSR actions
(posts on the internal social network, testimonials,
videos on specific topics). Broader awareness-raising
is also carried out at various times. In 2020, Société
