First worksite safety audit
campaign The first campaign of worksite safety audits
carried out by AFNOR Certification took place
in 2020. During this specific period, 89% of
worksites were audited. A total of 72 audits
were carried out in 2020. Any deviation found
during these audits must be resolved by
the worksite management company within
the time frame set by Société du Grand
Paris, depending on whether it is human,
organisational or technical in nature.

A new version of the worksite
safety charter and guidelines A new version of the Grand Paris Express
worksite safety charter and guidelines,
the cornerstone of worksite safety,
was drawn up in 2020. It includes all the
fundamental rules and principles adopted
by Société du Grand Paris as part of the safety
and security component of the QSE policy
for the Grand Paris Express worksites.
It also includes the guidelines that form
the documentary bases for defining
the requirements and performance levels of
a given system. This version mainly includes
developments on the principles of safety
on and around worksites (responsibility,
risk identification, protection, etc.),
the emergency response and regulatory
clarifications. The changes are the result
of feedback from work in progress, events
that have occurred and exercises carried out.
Validation of the charter, and its distribution
to all those involved in the construction chain,
ensures that the safety requirements for
worksites are consistently maintained
or reinstated throughout the project
and across the various contracts and the
many contractors involved.
