IN 2020
Selective sorting and 100%
of waste recycled The waste cycle and the way in which
waste is recycled by processing centres and
specific organisations is closely monitored.
In 2020, approximately 43 tonnes of waste
were generated at Le Moods. Of this,
53% contained materials that were recycled;
the rest was used to produce energy.
The waste generated in 2020 mainly came
from the move to the new site (cardboard
boxes, bulky items). Paper waste, which is
the fourth largest source of waste, was
recycled and used to produce the equivalent
of 1,252 new reams of paper. One year after
every employee was supplied with a personal
water bottle and a cup, the use of plastic cups
has dropped by 100%. Data also shows that
employees are using their personal cups and
water bottles instead of cardboard cups.
In 2020, waste recycling saved:

The waste management provider has
committed to funding tree planting to offset
the carbon impact of the waste produced.
In 2020, two trees were planted.
Special management
of Covid-19 waste A collection system for used masks has
been introduced. Specific bins are available
to employees and visitors in several central
areas (shared company restaurant, car park,
reception lobby) so that Covid-19-related
personal protective waste is handled
separately and not mixed with conventional
waste.
