In 2020, Société du Grand Paris deployed its
corporate social responsibility (CSR) approach.
It is a cornerstone of performance and added value
integrated into the 2024 corporate strategy.
CSR governance and implementation is
cross-functional and carried out by
several bodies that coordinate the
approach and disseminate it throughout
the organisation:
The Sustainable Development Division,
which is part of the Coordination, Methods
and Tools Division, manages and leads the CSR
approach. It is also responsible for deploying
initiatives and monitoring CSR performance
objectives;
A working group brings together representatives
from each executive division and the Risk,
Audit and Compliance Division to set goals
in terms of social responsibility and to reinforce
initiatives. Each representative is responsible
for disseminating information to their division,
through the introduction of facilitation tools;
Société du Grand Paris s governing bodies
(Executive Committee and Supervisory Board)
validate the decisions made and the directions
taken;
Each executive division is then responsible for
implementing CSR commitments and
initiatives.
In 2019, the representatives identified the main
CSR challenges and drew up Société du Grand Paris s
CSR roadmap. This roadmap is structured around
four main pillars: ethical people-centric project
management; factoring in the environment in both
design and implementation; contributing
to creating the city of tomorrow; working
for and in collaboration with local
stakeholders. Each of these pillars has
been broken down into 24 priorities for
the period to 2024.
Implementing these initiatives requires the
commitment of all employees at all levels in the
organisation. In 2020, implementation of the CSR
approach focused on awareness-raising and internal
communication.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL CSR GOVERNANCE
